This is a older basket, weave pottery piece that is made in Japan. It is largely natural colors with the image of a peasant couple on each side. It is made of clay that is glazed. It stands almost 6 inches tall with an applied handle. It does have some surface crazing and some factory flaws, typical of made in Japan items.
