This is an antique lamp that has a white granite base with a brass stem and a milk glass globe.  The brass fitting at the base of the hardware is split.  It stands at 11" to the bottom of the bulb.  Works as it should, but should be handled with care, meaning it should be lifted by the granite base and not the stem.
